Symphony No 85 in B flat ‘La Reine’ – JOSEPH HAYDN

This will be a special, smaller-scale, ‘socially distanced’ concert, designed to fit within Government Covid-19 guidelines for live performances Although the orchestra will appear in a much reduced form to ensure the safety of our musicians on stage, this gives us an opportunity to perform some wonderful music that wouldn’t fit as well in our usual larger concert seasons, when the orchestra normally presents at full symphonic strength.
The theatre is working under strict COVID conditions, and as such things will be somewhat different to normal. Capacity will be reduced to 350 seats, with audience members socially distanced from one another as necessary. Tickets must be booked beforehand, and can be booked in groups of up to 6 seats.
The Assembly Hall’s Covid Secure and Social Distancing Measures will be available on their website shortly, and all relevant information will be sent to ticket holders as part of the booking process.
Importantly, due to COVID restrictions all tickets must be booked via the Assembly Hall Box Office, either online or by telephone, buying in person or directly from RTWSO is not possible at this time.
We would strongly advise online booking where possible, as tickets will be emailed out to print at home. If you are unable to provide an email address and request for your tickets to be posted, there will unfortunately be a £3.50 postage charge.
From 24th October, RTWSO Friends and Subscribers will be able to buy tickets during an early booking period. Information on how to take advantage of this early booking will be sent out by 24th October. Booking then opens up to the general public from 31st October, when tickets can be purchased online or by phone from the Assembly Hall Box Office here.
